Sovereign Hill’s amazing Winter Wonderlights installation has been declared complete for another year. A tourism highlight of the Melbourne Winter Calendar, the Winter Wonderlights festival attracts over 100,000 visitors! People travel from near and far, rugged up in beanies, scarves and mittens, to enjoy a fun-filled day of Christmas in July celebrations. Even Bec Judd made it to Ballarat to shoot a special segment for Postcards!

Textures are prized in the way of velvety fabrics, tufted finishes and textures, particularly for wall finishes like panelling and mouldings. This year Dark Mofo celebrated its 3rd year of worshipping Winter. Emerging from hibernation and descending on Tassie are lovers of art music and food. The festival is often referred to as pagan, dark, weird… But that’s seems to be exactly what the people love! Dark Mofo gives us a chance to explore the dark by sparking our curiosity,  making it inviting and setting it on fire. I am also now obsessed with red crosses and neon.
