The 2017 JANUARY Events

What’s going on this month? Heaps of stuff is the short answer.

If you’re in our industry or anything like us at JAK, calendar and public events make a huge impact on our business. There are generally loads of cool things to celebrate, Melbourne in particular, knows how to put on a show and the focus at the moment is the Australian Open.

So grab a racquet, fill an esky and get patriotic. It’s time to catch some fireworks!

screen-shot-2017-01-23-at-4-04-13-pmThe Ausopen website is THE place to go to work out what’s going on, What’s gone down and what’s coming up. It’s full of match reports, videos, highlights, galleries and social media links.

Check out the Event Guide for all the fun things to do while you’re there.  Grab a glass of bubbles at the chic Parisian Le Bar a Champagne.

At Garden Square Club Aperol is ‘serving’ up refreshing summer bevvies. Our clever buddies at Frank Wild are all over this one with a great bar concept J

Escape the sun and celebrities to refresh yourself and get a vitamin fix at the Blackmores Wellbeing Oasis. Choose to be a ‘Well Being’ and get a photo with your Wellbeing Wings!

For all the super luxe, behind the scenes design porn, check out Chard International’s Instagram page. It’s pure inspiration.

And if  you love your music and you’re anything like us you’ll want to know what killer shows you can catch. Some you need tickets for, but loads of them are free. Bring it on!

    1. Hi Celia, Thanks so much for your interest and feedback on our article! To generate this info last year I used a couple of sources and mashed them together. Try Googling ‘Melbourne 2018 event calendar’ and explore the links to Melbourne Festival, What’s On Melbourne, Visit Melbourne and Time Out Melbourne, There is always a heap of information there. Good luck! 🙂
